Help with Web Registation
Early Web registration for Summer and Fall
Students who attended in the previous semester and who have received pins from their advisor have the option of
registering via phone or the web during the time period listed on their pin label.
Note: Please read Directions for Touchtone Telephone Registration for
information regarding your pin.
As with phone registration it is a good idea have your desired class schedule planned
before attempting to register.
Note: Web registration will time out after a 5 minute period of inactivity.
If you are timed out you will need to log back in to continue.
For Summer and Fall terms you can register either by Web or by phone or a mix of the two.
If you register by phone you will still be able to log in to the web to display and
print your schedule on the Web.
How to Register via the Web.
Students who wish to register online and have received their registration pins
can go to
http://mystate.wvstateu.edu
This link will redirect you to a secure site.
Click on the Enter Secure Area link.
You will be required to use the same information which you have always
used for the telephone registration.
The User ID is currently the same as the phone registration Student ID Number.
Your pin is the same one used for phone registration as your Personal Identification Number.
Once you get to the main menu click on Student & Financial Aid.
From this menu click the Registration link.
From the Registration menu click select term.
From the term menu
Pick either the Summer or Fall term and click submit.
You are returned to the main registration menu where you can now
add and drop classes for the term you picked.
To change terms simply click select term and choose a different term then proceed to register
for that term.
All items on the Registration menu are term specific so make sure that you select the correct
term.
When you click on add drop you will be asked for your Alternate Pin
this is the same pin that telephone registration calls the Term Pin.
After entering this pin you can continue to register.
On the add class screen enter the class index number you wish to add in the first box on the
left as shown in the example. Click submit.
You are now registered for the class. You can go back to the main menu at any time to review
your list of registered classes.
Click exit at the top right of the screen to exit the session.
You make log back in at any time to display your class schedule.
If you have problems using the web interface, phone registration is still
available at this time. Call 7665123 to register by phone.
