The prerequisites for many courses—especially General Education courses—are listed below the course titles. There is not space, however, to list all of the prerequisites for all of the upper-level courses. Always check the prerequisites in the catalog or with the appropriate department before enrolling in any course. A student cannot depend on the computer to prevent enrollment in a course for which the student is not eligible. A WVSU or WVSCTC student who enrolls in a course without meeting the prerequisites risks being administratively withdrawn from the course.
Transient students from other colleges and universities will be eligible to enroll in those classes which are listed on their transient forms. Transient students should be reminded, however, that WVSU and WVSCTC courses presume completion of any prerequisites specified for these courses in the WVSU and WVSCTC course schedules and catalogs.
